Ditto - both ways.

Overall, perhaps more are happier with post TAH (or SCAH) sexual function - as I only take out problematic uteri. If it was bleeding too much or hurting too much - their sexual function is better than before.

FWIW the ones who have been more likely to be unhappy about sexual function after TAH - seem to be single women - who have mentioned the loss of playing with the cervix during masturbation affecting their response / orgasm.

My observation - nothing scientific.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
