Would be interesting if someone on the list would get us an endocrine opinion on this. I see lots of patients having this done elsewhere at unbelievably high prices. As for the "bio-identical" hormones, ACOG has put on some nice courses regarding their use. Most important point from my perspective is as Lila Natchigall says, "Natural doesn't mean safer". Regardless, many women choose the compounded approach. Jay

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
