Re: Office injectablesFrom: Joanne Bulley, MD (islesannie@yahoo.com)Wed Jul 14 17:39:47 2004
methotrexate is so cheap ($8 for 100mg) that I do that in the office. It might be cheaper if I bought more - I buy a box of 10 vials and re-order when down to 2 vials. For Rhogam - I have the patient pick it up from the blood bank/lab and bring it to the office - and the hospital gets to get reimbursed (or not) Antibiotics - I don't carry those in the office. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
