Re: Elective Induction - something goes wrongFrom: DoctorJoe@aol.comFri Jul 9 22:40:33 2004
In a message dated 7/9/04 10:02:39 PM, eramirezt@coqui.net writes: << I could not find the legal term on truth in these sites - weird - maybe ther ain't... >> There is a tension in the practice of law, maybe you'd say a conflict in philosophy, between those who think the court of law is a place to search for the ultimate TRUTH (i.e. who's really right and who's really wrong), and those who think the court of law is simply a place to fight it out and may the best man win - so winning is everything. Sort of a formalized one-upmanship - whoever uses the rules better will win. But these are philosophic ideas, not practical on a day-to-day basis. So whereever you see a blood and guts cite, some local or regional court, you'll only see the RULES, not the philosophy behind them - since BOTH philosophies are using the same set of rules. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
