Coulter, Malpractice & Edwards

Ann Coulter very quickly polarizes people, but she nailed Edwards in her latest column (http://www.anncoulter.org/columns/2004/070704p.htm). Every obstetrician should read this one column before he/she even considers putting Kerry/Edwards in the White House. Such a ticket, if successful, would stop tort/malpractice reform cold in its tracks, for the rest of your careers, and would effectively turn the courts and laws over to the trial lawyers (as if they needed more help doing that). And you can be sure the trial lawyers will be putting their millions into the campaign so their gravy train continues (e.g. suing OBs for every case of CP).

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
