I don't remember the exact figure but its something like $110. per delivery per year. For three of us in our practice, it will be over $60,000! I know that's low compared to obstetricians, but just 2 or 3 years ago that figure was about $25,000.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
