The real answer to this is "So what?!?!"

If it's legal to terminate a (presumably completely normal) baby for social reasons, why can't you terminate a baby for a deformity, whether it's life-threatening or merely cosmetic? What's the beef?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
