Re: cost of "no shows"From: Richard Chudacoff, MD (rchudacoff@mylinuxisp.com)Thu May 27 09:04:22 2004
Tell me about it. I had a patient try a Nuvaring. Unfortunately it fell out. Patient is a lawyer. Patient was counseled, and left with a one easy FAQ sheet, the patient information sheet, the physician's information sheet, a CD and the web site. She then quit me because the Nuvaring fell out and I did not inform her of this possibility.strongly enough. I said good-bye, and realized that if attorneys refused to read basic and detailed instructions and directives, then the practice of medicine is in a world of irreparable hurt.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
