the stock market would tank, we'd lose millions of jobs, and our military would be totally overstretched.

You know what? I did vote for Gore, he did win, and I'll be damned if all those things didn't come true!"

I have had conversations with primary care doctors that refused to treat male partners for trich. because "he has no illness or problems, and the patient should not have to adjust to the medications..." (go without alcohol for 72 hours)! It was not just one physician with this response either! Our health department can take over for the education/ notification but is not funded enough to treat males with STD's.

I made a handout for my patients advising them of what to have partners treated/ tested for. Most partners are willing to discuss treatment/ testing after reading about it.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
