Liberty will not descend to a people;
a people must raise themselves to liberty;
it is a blessing that must be earned before it can be enjoyed.

I'm leaning in that direction. I've tried her on higher doses of Paxil with
a thought of OCD. She initially noted improvement but later felt it wasn't
working. I just want to make sure that I'm not missing another possibility.

Wonder if anyone has any guidance on a difficult patient.
25 y.o. nulliparous patient who first came in about 6 months ago. At
first complained of vaginal and mons pubis pain. Vaginal pain has been
improved, and over the last few months notes a prickly sensation on the
mons. She says it feels like bugs are crawling on the hair. Multiple
exams have not shown any skin changes or lesions. She was so convinced
that this was an infestation that she has self-treated for lice. The
last few months she is noted some rectal pain, but no vaginal pain. I
can't come up with anything to explain the prickly sensation in the
mons, especially with a normal physical exam. Any suggestions?
