Re: post menopausal lactationFrom: ginny lee, CNM (glocnm@obsrus.com)Wed Mar 31 19:16:37 2004
No Steve, you're correct, the 54 year old is pregnant and presumably should lactate normally since doesn't require ovarian input...just wondering if anyone out there had experience with similar. Anna, she has two previous children (biologically hers)not sure if she breastfed them. very high maintenance patient (easy to imagine), luckily we do have a good group of lactation consultants, I'm just the resident breastfeeding expert in the office so I field all these issues thanks to all for input she may need the thorazine for entirely different reasons :)

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
