Con permiso, Dra. Folgar:

1) He who denies help/rescue to someone in danger or grave risk to health and limb and who is otherwise capable of rendering such assistance without risk to self or to a third party will be sentenced to prison for 3 to 12 months. 2) The same sentenced will be served by a person who is not capable of rendering help/rescue, but who fails to seek immediate help from a third party who is capable. 3)A healthcare professional who fails to deliver care to a person who suffers grave health consequences from the with-holding of such care will be punished by prison time of 9 months to 3 years and a loss of professional license for a period of 6 months to 3 years.

Quisiera añadir lo que cada Americano piensa decir en este momento: Lo siento mucho lo que está sufriendo el pueblo español en estos tiempos tan amargos.

Gerald P. Rodríguez, M.D., FACOG Santa Fe

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
