Re: ?Mucinous cystadenoma of ovaryFrom: Abdul Raman Lilla (arlilla@hotmail.com)Sat Mar 6 04:25:04 2004
Dear Dr Mani Its not wise to aspirate an ovarian cyst, it should be dealt with laparoscopically, it should be done soon and an ovarian cystectomy should be performed, to get a hitological diagnosis, spilling some of the cyst fliud is not a problem as long as you wash the peritonial cavity, thoroughly. Regards Dr A R Lilla, consultant Woman's Hospital, HMC, Doha, Qatar

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
