Answer: Nothing that I know of; it is simply the pressure from the JW committee who think that all doctors need to be advised on how to manage anaemic JWs. I have been trying to put them off the idea, but they are very persisitent and I have had to admit privately that I don't really know enough about erythropoietin therapy to know if they are telling me something that I shouldn't be ignoring. So far all the posts have confirmed to me that this is not a sensible cost effective option for her. Thanks everyone for their responses. Steve
