Do I hear DUCKS????? Dan -----Original Message----- From: ob-gyn-l@obgyn.net [mailto:ob-gyn-l@obgyn.net] On Behalf Of Karen Lee Sent: Saturday, January 10, 2004 12:59 PM To: Multiple recipients of list OB-GYN-L Subject: Saliva testing Are any of you utilizing saliva testing for hormone levels? If so, in what context? I have done a google search and by page 10 I had not reached a site from a university or other known source. Are we dealing with a new 'snake oil' situation? I have resisted using this because the patients who have brought in their results which were obtained from a kit bought in their pharmacy had little or no use. One of the local pharmacists is doing hormone testing 'counselling'. Your thoughts? Karen Lee, ARNP Woman to Woman 110 N. Laventure Suite C Mount Vernon, WA 98273

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
