Re: sidual dysplasia

My thought was to get her immune system ramped up hopefully to decrease the viral load, not to effect a cure for HGSIL. I cannot imagine that it's use would hamper the LEEP or the pathologist's ability to evaluate the specimen. She will need to wait approx 4 weeks for LEEP. Of course with her Hx of normal paps until this I assume she has one/some of the more virulent strains of HPV, once again leading me to think this Aldara thing is worth a try.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
