Hi Myer, Thanks for your response. Have not noted the stiffness you heard of with porcine grafts to date but will watch for this. Increased resistance or 'stiffness' may actually be a plus for preventing recurrent prolapse in these patients but we will have to wait and see some long term data. Have not been comfortable with reported erosion rates on prolene mesh vs porcine, tho I have to admit I have yet to see a TVT mesh erode in over 350 placed to date, so this turn out to be a false concern with Gyne-Mesh, which is essentially a larger TVT mesh, I am told. Appreciate your input and please let me know your impressions of the prolene mesh A/P.
