The strain that showed up here in SW NH - is NOT covered by the meningococcal vaccine - according to the CDC quotes here in NH about the cases this christmas.

so there is still meningitis NOT covered by vaccine and the self care precautions still hold.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
