Yes - I agree - I called all three hospitals in the vicininty - and its about the same. The hospital here ine Keene seems to be the highest - but it was hard to get out of the others the full cost.

There is the fee for the hospitl - then there is the fee for the radiologist on top of that. I think it is ludicrous that the radiologist gets to charge for reading the transvag U/S and the trans abd as well -as if they are two separate procedures.

They also do that with CT scans - to get the full abd & pelvis they call it two scans (look in your CPT book - there are two codes) - and they read out the Abd CT and then the Pelvic CT.
