They charge it as 2 full US fees - one for the transabdominal and one for the transvaginal! And the two reports always read EXACTLY the same. Of course BC/BS, Anthem, Aetna, Cigna etc all pay much less than that - but the uninsured get the full bill!!!!! This is one place where I am really convinced that the services SHOULD be bundled!!! Or the second part be paid at half - like when we do a vag hyst and ant/post colporrhaphy we get paid the "full" (!) reimbursement for the VH and much less that the "full" (!) amount for the AP Repair. When the folks do these photo shoots - they have sliced the overhead - no billing service - only cash at time of service. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
