HSV

Ok - I am feeling "behind the times" ...

My hospital microbiolgoy lab has us use the pink transport media and we send the HSV out for tissue culture ...

I am only doing gyn.

Under what circunstances do you

1. tissue culture

2. do serum antibody testing

3. do PCR (or other) test?
