Message"Term" quintuplet pregnancy"--isn't that an oxymoron? ☺ But seriously, our fellow list-er from So. Africa posted a couple of cases of huge masses 2 or 3 months ago, one weighing 75 Kg., but I think these were leiomyomata uteri.

I remember there being a fair number of articles on this topic quite a few years ago. I have been unable to find them with any search engine. Does anybody have any references. This lady's abdomen is the size of a TERM QUINTUPLET pregnancy. On U/S it appears to be cystic. It has been growing slowly over the last year. She has a history of having her left ovary removed in 1985 for a "4 month pregnancy sized tumor" She is 55

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
