Barry Kacinski, Researched Skin And Gynecological Cancers, 50

It was reported from New haven, Connecticut, that Dr. Barry Kacinski, who researched skin and gynecological cancers and taught at Yale University School of Medicine, died Nov. 20 of a heart attack, at the age of 50.

Doctor Kacinski taught at Yale since 1983 in the departments of therapeutic radiology, dermatology and obstetrics and gynecology.

Kacinski treated cancer patients at Yale-New Haven Hospital, Uncas on the Thames Hospital, the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, William W. Backus Hospital, and Lawrence and Memorial Hospital.

He graduated from the Yale School of Medicine in 1980 and earned his Ph.D. in molecular biology and biophysics the following year.
