Bulent, That is actually a fascinating idea that certainly provokes thought. We do rescue cerclages regularly where the amnion has prolapsed into the contaminated vagina, often with good results. In this case, if in deed the amnion is truly prolapsed, it is into a sterile environment. Got those wheels turning. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
