To Fellow Members:

The liability climate in Illinois is becoming increasingly difficult with rising premiums making Illinois a difficult state to practice in. We are also aware that some medical corporations in Illinois are hoping to sign perinatalogists. It would be advisable to have your legal counsel review these contracts very carefully. These contracts have been described by many in the legal community as physician unfriendly. If you desire further information or a good health attorney, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
