I have a patient to whom I performed D &E on the first of July.Forty days after she had no period.I gave her progestins 5 days,we waited one week and still no menses.Then she received estrogen-progesteron for 28 days but still nothing.My mind went to premature menopause(she is 33) and intrauterine adhesions.FSH and LH are normal(4,2 and 2,1 respectively).Yesterday I performed a Hysteroscopy but the cavity was clean.I sent for histology tissue taken by Novak which is pending. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
