I have had some dificulty with pulling them out when I take out the inserter. If one only pulled it down a little so that the bottom end was in the canal and not out so it could be seen,, I wonder????? Things went well until last night when I had to remove it in the ER because she was expelling it, accompanied by a lot of pain. Have never seen this occur and am inclined to blame it on nulliparity. Reviewed old obgyn messages on the subject and didn't see any similar problem.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
