Personally, I don't feel that this is a case at all. But this attorney is pushing my friend who is actually working on the case, not me. I'm just helping her find any research possible but it looks like there isn't any to support the attorney's feelings. I am a firm believer that sh*t happens and you can't always blame some one or some thing/ This lady was probably wearing the seat belt incorrectly to begin with, but something caused her membranes to rupture that night, and I don't think stress did it. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
