For those of you who work locum or have had a locum physician work for you. How do you bill for their services? Do you simply bill as if you had provided the services yourself, or do you have to bill Medicare, Medi-Cal, etc. with a different provider number for the locum?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
