Expeditor systems in Atlanta makes this kind of system, not too expensive, and very customized. http://www.expeditor.com -----Original Message----- From: ob-gyn-l@obgyn.net [mailto:ob-gyn-l@obgyn.net] On Behalf Of Garry E. Robert: My staff is pushing for this, and I actually have priced a restaurant pager system, also, at around $1700 (http://www.jtech.com). My guess is that we'll deny a few meals and clothes for our children in order to appease the staff :). I was hoping to avoid a doorbell or "allpage," as I personally think that the latter is a bit obnoxious. The doorbell problem is that it wouldn't help us know WHICH doctor has a chart ready, etc. Garry

differentcolored lights, that are in the halls, exam room , etc., so the
frontdesk turns on a light, and it blinks everywhere.&nb p; These are
costly, butlook slick.I'm thinking about using a r staurant pager
system, where each medicalassistant has a beeper, and th front keys up
their beeper from a smallcontrol box. I have no id a how much it would
cost, but I bet a lotless than the cool lights.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
