Re: GEN: Office system for medical assistant notificationFrom: GIN11153@aol.comThu Aug 28 21:59:41 2003
Why don't you do what a lot of clinics and dentists here do? They have like a PA system and when the front office gal has checked the patient in and affirmed her insurance, they announce on the PA 'Medical Assistant to the front desk". The assistant then goes to the front, picks up the chart and gets the patient from the waiting room. Gail Neuman RNC CPHW SNP LNC certified high risk OB/legal consultant Tustin, CA

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
