Sorry for the patient and for you for being the source of blame. I think it's unfortunate that people don't understand that bad things happen no matter how careful we live our lives. And sometimes, no one is responsible. And sometimes, nothing can be done to prevent it from happening again. I think it's especially unfortunate that the patient lost someone, her doctor who could have been one more source of support during such a trying time.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
