Looking for similar experiencesFrom: Richard Chudacoff, MD (rchudacoff@mylinuxisp.com)Fri Aug 8 08:54:39 2003
Our office was briefly (3 days) off the panel of a major health insurance provider. The company claims no reason, nor responsibility for the removal and return, but this did cost us a few hundred dollars. Specifically, they refuse to pay, because we were not paneled for those 3 days, and patients refused to pay because we assured them when they made the appointment, and then checked a week or less before their appointment, that we were on the panel. So, I get stuck without payment. Has this happened to anyone else?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
