Re: alternatives to medical practice

There are many places in the world where you can practice medicine without the fear of litigation. South Africa and Africa in general are severely short of doctors and specialists in particular. Of course some of these countries can be classified as so "Third World" as to be not worth considering unless you have a "missionary" bent, but the option of leaving America might be seen by some as being a "missionary" anyway. Anyone seriously considering the possibility only has to email me and I will show you into the right direction. Steve

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
