So you're suggesting that this is part of the IQ test administered to patients?

Sort of like, "Well, honey, you didn't take your asthma medicine we gave you in clinic and you keep buying cigarettes so now you're back here complaining of shortness of breath and you want us to help you, AND you want us to let you roll your IV pole outside so you can have a cigarette while you're waiting???"

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
