I had this with all three of my pregnancies and it was probably THE most annoying side effect I dealt with, but still didn't feel the need to try to find a med to stop it. Sometimes it got to the point where I would just hold my head over the sink and let it drip for awhile because I was just so tired of swallowing it all the time. Antacids wouldn't help. It had nothing to do with reflux, as far as I could tell. Oxybutynin is pregnancy Category B. I would guess that might help, but again, it's possible to just live with it. (Just annoying as h*ll).

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
