X-Ray and Cipro at early preganacyFrom: Pearl S. Odawin (pearl_14@excite.com)Mon Jul 28 10:01:07 2003
Two ultrasounds confirmed that I was conceived on 6/11/03. I had 6 shots of x-ray(2 neck, 2 spinal, 2 pelvis) at my Chiropractor's on 6/14/03, when I was 3 days after conceive. I had a UTI on 7/4/03. On 7/6/03 (3 weeks and 3 days after conceive), my doctor gave me 250mg Cipro, twice a day for 3 days. On 7/8/03, I found out that I was pregnant. I had one last cipro pill left. I called my doctor and asked him if I should take the last pill. He said yes and I took the pill. That was 7/8/03( 3 weeks and 6 days after conceive). I have also been using plexion cleaner for my acne treatment. My Chiropractor said the chiropractice x-ray is much weaker than the hospital's. He told me not to worry about the x-ray. My OB doctor did not say much about cipro other than that it's a C-Rank drug and there is no found adverse effects on fetus/embryo. I'm worried sick and probably will remain so through the whole pregnancy. Any advices or past experiences would be greatly appreciated.
