If the uterus is still floppy and bleeding after giving pit IV, then we put 600 mcg intrarectlly. Someone has to reach under the drapes to do it.

I've never heard it being contraindicated in asthmatics either.

Dr Braun...how do you use it after c/s? Regualarly or just for hemorrhage after pit fails?
