Happy to report that we've added a lot more smarts to the forum spam filtering in the last week and it seems to be working. Basically the idea Rafael has above but refined to use smart patterns to detect the tricks that spammers are using in HTML to get around the filters but normal people don't use. Of course the Nigerian spams are plain text and hand written so they are harder to detect but we're getting nearly all of them now too.

Best Bruce

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
