I want to say it was something dealing with iodine (worrying about iodine and the fetal thyroid), but I don't remember it offhand. But I DO remember there being some research about vaginal absorption of some substances, and it's NOT necessarily negligeble. Another thought: Those of you appropriately situated - TRY IT and report back to those of us who are vaginally disadvantaged! THE MAN P.S. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
