Joe P. -- MADRID (July 14) - A 27-year-old American was seriously gored by a bull in Pamplona on Monday to become the eleventh victim of this year's bull running, as the festival produced its traditional cocktail of pain and adrenaline. The bull's horn went through the man's rectum and perforated his bladder after he ran in front of the animals hurtling through the northern Spanish town on the last day of the week-long party. His condition was serious and required surgery, the government said on its Web site. The U.S. embassy was not immediately able to confirm his identity but the Web site said he was from Arkansas.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
