Garry, Unless I suspect ooze or excessive loss at surgery, routinely get CBC next am. I also will frequently get H/H at the first post op visit if it was low on 1st p/op day. Depending on the extent, may get a second p/op day H/H also, just to be sure what direction it is going, irrespective of vital signs. Also, I get routine H/H on p/partum exams in the office.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
