pursuing lawyers like that looks better on paper than it does in real life. unless you catch em with their collective hands in old folks' pension plans, etc - nothing comes of it. recently i was named in a suit concerning a patient i had never seen. i asked my insurance company to countersue --- that went nowhere. when i asked my personal attorney about it, i was told i would have to fork over a large retainer - unlike the plaintiff who got all services on contingency. so countersuing was not an option for me. then i demanded my deposition for the show - would have been the only deposition i would have actually enjoyed - others have been the equivalent of root canal. i was denied even that for the case was dropped. so please... the deck is thoroughly stacked in NY in the trial bar's favor. as with WOPR's advice about tic tac toe in "War Games", "the only way to win is NOT to play."

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
