In my view, if this lawyer can be PROVEN to be as you've characterized him, then I think it is a legal ethics board problem. Just like plaintiff (and defendant) whore experts, who testify for plaintiff (or defense) for money and because their side is always right, even if they aren't, are OUR problem, lawyers who do this kind of thing are the legal profession's problem. Nobody has perfectly clean hands here.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
