You are obviously over 40, and I believe that the federal Age Discrimination in Employment Act has a provision that will allow you more than substantially more one day to make a decision. It might not change ultimately the outcome, but the ability to buy more time may lead to a better solution for you. I would consult with an attorney who specializes in employment law.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
