I am trying to decide whether I will continue my private practice once my son graduates from high school - and have thought (some) about doing the locums thing - get to travel etc. Thought I'd see if nay of you have done it and your reaction(s). I have been in the position to USE the Locums service - and had to fire two of the ones we used! Others worked out great. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
