F.R.S.C.: "Re: anemia in pregnancy" Next in thread: Richard Kaplan: "Re: anemia in pregnancy" Dear All, Anaemia in pregnancy is very prevalent in India We treat almost all pregnant women prophylactically with Iron from the second trimester atleast.we do Hb estimations on the booking visit.if its over ten we just give a minimum dose but lesser than that depending on the week of gestation we either treat with parentral iron or for less than 7 we go on to transfusions .the outcome is definetely better in treated patients than in the others . The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
