Mario, you still might want to do cystometrics fairly soon to be sure she isn't transmitting too much pressure back up into her ureters.

I had a patient go over a month after Burch bladder suspension (after previous failed repairs)--she then was able to void without difficulty for the remaining 2+ years of her life until she developed a rapidly fatal leukemia. At that point, I was still using suprapubic catheters in all my Burches, so it was a nuisance rather than a real problem. Gail Waldby, MD Huron Clinic SD
