chemical PregnancyFrom: Karen (chevy22154@yahoo.com)Thu Feb 27 15:54:11 2003
When you have a chemical pregnancy does the embryo implant into the uterus. I tested with a HPT and it was positive only after my breast were unormally sore. sure enough I was pregnant, but HCG was only eleven four days after I tested. I bleed three days later my period was only late by 4 days. My doctor said it was a chemical pregnancy. What does that mean, and would it be safe to say I could become pregnant again, or is something wrong with the ability for furture embryo's to implant. thank you,
-- Karen

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
