Re: Newly pregnant existing patientsFrom: Garry E. Siegel, M.D. (garrys@mindspring.com)Tue Feb 25 19:28:28 2003
No question that the intimacy of solo practice is better, but that isn't really the solution that I seek. I have some thoughts of what to do: 1. Have the appointment maker (that is, one of the several who make appointments) write the name down and hand me the chart. 2. Have the appointment maker tell my nurse, who knows all :). 3. Have the nurse (we rotate) on the prescription line give me the chart/name, etc. It isn't a big deal, I'm just searching for ideas. Garry

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
